  • Download the 'EVChaja" App on Google Play or Apple Store. You will be able to view all our chargers on the Map, you can get directions to them.

  • Charging is free for now, we will update you as soon as we begin charging and the packages available.

  • Our current chargers will take 1-4 hrs to charge your vehicle from 0% to full, depending on your battery size and your vehicles charging capacity. Our chargers are 22kW. 

  • When you arrive at the charging Station;

    • Connect the cable that's compatible with your vehicle (TYPE 1/TYPE 2) to your vehicle.

    • Scan the QR code labeled on the charger via the EVChaja App. 

    • Tap Start charging in the app. (RFID Card option is also available, contact us to get one delivered to you)

    • The light on the charger will turn blue. You will also get a notification on the app that the charging session has started.

    • When finished charging Tap Stop Charging in the app. You will also get a notification on the app that the charging session is complete.

    • Disconnect the charging cable from your vehicle and return it to the cable holder.

  • Check your vehicles manual and see if your vehicle is TYPE 1 or TYPE 2 compatible.

  • Contact us on +254 717 890 890 so we can deliver one to you. An account is required. Sign up is free via EVChaja APP.
